Chicken Pad Thai

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar to balance sugar
  • 4 oz rice noodles
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1 small bunch cilantro
  • 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Slice carrots and onions (large julian)
  2. Cut up chicken into small pieces
  3. Cook noodles to al dente
  4. Saute vegetables, set aside
  5. Saute chicken until half done on medium
  6. Add garlic on medium low

 

Add in this order:

  • Fish sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • 2 Beaten eggs
  • Chili sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Rice vinegar
  • Noodles
